Job description
Job Title: Waste Collection Driver / Maintenance Operative
Company: J Squared Solutions (Recruiting on behalf of esteemed client)
Location: London Victoria
Salary: £13 per hour PAYE, paid monthly
Shifts Available: Day Shift (06:00 am - 18:00 pm)
Schedule: 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off, totaling 48 hours per week
Responsibilities:
• Drive a 3.5-ton van to various stations around London City for waste collection.
• Load bins onto the van and transport them back to London Victoria for separation and disposal.
• Perform maintenance tasks at each site, including fixing bins, changing bin wheels, and lids.
• Ensure all collected waste is disposed of properly and in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the van and work area.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
• Full UK driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Hands-on experience with fixing and general maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
