About the role
At The Salvation Army, every box lifted, every truck loaded, every donation sorted, and every act of care behind the scenes contributes directly to supporting people in crisis. We’re looking for a Warehouse Team Member who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and help bring practical hope to communities across Victoria.
Whether you're organizing stock, supporting our thrift shops, or delivering essential goods to those in need—you won’t just be working, you’ll be serving.
Reporting to the Coordinating Thrift Shop Manager, this is a permanent part-time position, 30 hours per week, based in Irymple, VIC.
Compensation is in accordance with General Retail Award Level 2.
You will successfully
Taking the lead in daily warehouse duties including stock control and damage management
Driving, loading, and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
Picking and packing goods for dispatch, ensuring quality and care
Helping collect, sort and process donations—including material aid into our Community Centre
Supporting a safe and clean work environment and helping maintain our yard and warehouse space
You will have
A strong work ethic and reliable team spirit
A current Victorian Driver’s Licence
A current Employee Working with Children's Check
Commitment to health and safety practices
Respect for people from all walks of life and a heart for community impact
A Workplace First Aid Certificate (desirable, but not essential)
