This is a full-time opportunity working from our CrossBorder Pickups location located at 1300 Kamato Road Unit 12, Mississauga, Ontario.

Hours of Work

Weekdays: 11am - 7pm
Saturdays: 10am - 2pm

Job Description Summary

The Warehouse Associate position is to support the Director Operations and Management team in ensuring the day-to-day retail operations are operating smoothly, accurately, and efficiently. This role is expected to practice efficiency with all daily work duties with attention to detail and accuracy in an effort to reduce company financial loss and prevent impacts on company's reputation. Efforts are also to be made to adhere to all company policies and procedures and to help foster a strong work culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform daily warehouse operations, including loading and unloading trucks, and accurately placing skids in designated areas.
Manually move parcels and skids or use appropriate equipment (e.g., pump truck, dolly); tasks may involve bending, reaching, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
Verify package contents and weight; identify and report any discrepancies or mis declared shipments.
Sort, scan, label, and organize parcels and inventory efficiently within the warehouse.
Complete shift-end scanning and build skids for end-of-day transportation.
Accurately perform nightly inventory counts and complete required paperwork.
Receive and scan daily import shipments arriving from the U.S.
Support front desk operations by accurately releasing shipments to customers and carriers.
Communicate effectively with team members via Slack and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and optimized warehouse space.
Keep the storefront tidy and professional in appearance at all times.
Ensure marketing materials are up-to-date and well displayed.
Monitor, replenish, and order warehouse and office supplies as necessary.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving operational needs.
Always maintain a professional demeanor and act in the best interest of the business.
Process all FBA holding shipments promptly and accurately.
Ensure all import shipments from the previous day's manifest are processed; report any missing items through the proper channels.
Assist customers with both parcel pickups and drop-offs, providing excellent service.
Handle all parcels with care and attention to detail.
Must be available to work Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Competencies/Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to multitask and work well under pressure.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and standing for long periods at a time lifting and bending.
Able to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently.
Detail-oriented and accurate with data entry.
Qualifications and Experience

At least 1 year of warehouse experience in shipping and receiving.
Knowledge of carriers and parcel shipping is an asset (eg. FedEx, UPS).
Comfortable working with new software applications.
Language Skills

English is the principal language for this position. This position requires good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
