Job Title: Ward Incharge (Nursing Supervisor)
Location: People's Hospital

Job Summary

The Ward Incharge at People's Hospital will oversee nursing operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care in the assigned ward. This leadership role requires strong clinical expertise, management skills, and the ability to guide a team of nurses while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Administrative Leadership:

Supervise and coordinate all nursing activities in the ward
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare protocols
Manage patient care assignments and nurse scheduling
Monitor and maintain optimal nurse-to-patient ratios
Patient Care Management:

Oversee quality of patient care and treatment plans
Conduct regular ward rounds to assess patient needs
Resolve complex patient care issues and escalate when necessary
Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of medical records
Team Management Development:

Mentor, train, and evaluate nursing staff performance
Conduct staff meetings and training sessions
Foster a positive work environment and resolve conflicts
Coordinate with other departments for seamless patient care
Quality Safety:

Implement infection control measures and safety protocols
Monitor inventory of medicines and medical supplies
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Ensure emergency preparedness and proper equipment functioning
Qualifications Requirements

Education Certification:

B.Sc Nursing (Post B.Sc or M.Sc Nursing preferred)
Valid registration with State Nursing Council
Experience:

Minimum 6-7 years of clinical nursing experience
Skills Competencies:

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in hospital management systems
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
Knowledge of latest nursing practices and protocols
