About the Role

At Middlemore Hospital we have an exciting opportunity for ward clerks to join our team. This is casual positions and your need to be available to work at short notice, on call basis. We require a flexible person who will be available to work a number of morning, afternoon and evening shifts including weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

In this role you will have the opportunity to interact with a range of services like Medical, Nursing, Clerical, Orderlies and Clinical staff to name a few. You will also have the opportunity to use your excellent customer service skills while talking to our patients, their families, visitors and general practitioners.

About You

You will be required to ensure the wards are maintained and prepared for patient admission. Effective recording and filing of patient information is a mandatory requirement.

To be successful:

You must have gained a NCEA level qualification
Proven Customer Service experience
Intermediate level of computer experience or literacy
Knowledge of iPMS/WiMS is desirable but not essential
Working at Health New Zealand
