Position Overview: We are on the hunt for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor and Videographer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing and editing video content for our Creativity Podcast, ensuring that each episode is visually engaging and aligns with our brand's voice. You will work closely with our podcast hosts and production team to produce high-quality video content that enhances the podcast experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Videography: Shoot and produce video content for podcast episodes, including interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and promotional materials.
• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished final products, incorporating graphics, text overlays, and music to enhance the storytelling of each episode.
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the podcast team to plan and execute video content that aligns with the podcast’s themes and objectives.
• Post-Production: Handle all aspects of post-production, including color correction, audio syncing, and final delivery in multiple formats suitable for various platforms.
• Project Management: Manage video production timelines, ensuring that episodes are delivered on schedule and meet high-quality standards.
• Equipment Management: Maintain and organize video equipment, ensuring its optimal performance for all recording sessions.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a videographer and video editor with a strong portfolio of work, preferably related to podcasts or similar content.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience with video shooting equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound.
• Strong understanding of video production processes, including pre-production, filming, and post-production.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a creative team.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and visual storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Media Arts, or a related field.
• Experience with motion graphics, animation, or other advanced video techniques.
• Familiarity with podcasting platforms and content requirements is a plus.
