Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling through visual media and possesses a keen eye for detail. As a Video Editor, you will collaborate closely with our content creators, producers, and directors to bring our vision to life through engaging and dynamic video content.

Responsibilities:

Edit raw footage into compelling and visually stunning videos that align with the company's brand and objectives.
Trim and rearrange footage to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the final video.
Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects to enhance the video's impact.
Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative ideas for video content.
Ensure that all video content meets quality standards and is delivered on time.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and post-production techniques.
Manage and organize video assets, including file storage and archiving.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and audio recording.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take direction and feedback.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual storytelling.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
A bachelor's degree in film, media studies, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
This is an in-office position in Sarasota, FL - M-F / 9-5. Remote work not available for this position.
