We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Full Time Position. Pay based on experience. Must have a Full UK License. Overtime available.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues.
Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical systems.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A valid driving licence may be required depending on the role's specific duties.
