Truck Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our commercial flooring company . The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed.

Duties

Operate commercial trucks to transport goods to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts when necessary, ensuring items are secured properly for transport.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, management team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.
Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and moving tasks as required.
Experience operating forklifts is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends if necessary.
