As the Treasury Manager you will oversee the organisation’s treasury operations, focusing on effective cash flow management, financing arrangements, investment activities, and financial risk mitigation. Reporting into the GM of Corporate Finance, this role supports strategic financial decisions through precise forecasting, liquidity planning, and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Liquidity Management
Oversee daily cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity across the group.
Lead short- and long-term cash flow forecasting and analysis.
Banking Financial Instruments
Manage banking relationships and negotiate terms for credit facilities.
Monitor compliance with financial covenants and ensure facility utilisation aligns with business needs.
Administer corporate credit card programs and electronic banking platforms.
Treasury Operations Reporting
Develop and maintain treasury policies, controls, and procedures.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of treasury-related data and KPIs.
Lead the month-end and year-end treasury reporting processes.
Risk Management Compliance
Monitor and manage interest rate, foreign exchange, and other financial risks.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls.
Support the GM of Corporate Finance in hedging strategies and financial modelling.
Leadership Collaboration
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Finance and the Executive team.
Supervise and mentor any treasury or finance support staff.
Partner with external advisors, banks, and auditors as required.
Key Requirements
Qualifications Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
CA/CPA/CFA qualification preferred.
Strong experience in treasury or corporate finance, preferably in retail or FMCG.
Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle).
Skills Attributes
Strong analytical, modelling, and forecasting skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commercial acumen.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
