About the Role

This role is responsible for the management, supervision and coordination of multi-skilled trades, trades assistants and contractors in the delivery of planned and corrective maintenance activities to plant, infrastructure and equipment in order to maintain Metro South Health (MSH) facilities in a safe and functional condition ensuring all work is performed in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner to prescribed quality standards meeting customer needs.
Manage and supervise the trades responsible for the infrastructure and services, construction and maintenance of a major health care facility and specialised equipment. This includes (but not limited to), Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical and external contractors.
Utilise a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to ensure an exceptional standard of service is maintained, providing responsive and accurate support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders in relation to planning, coordination and operational activity of all trade services, across Metro South Health.
