The Role
This critical member of the Production team will report directly to the Shift Manager and work on site with hours totaling 3+ per week on rotating shift patterns, Monday to Friday (6:00-14:30) with an early finish on Friday and Monday to Thursday (14:30 - 00:15).

Responsibilities
Support and develop team members to ensure the production cell follows process and company rules.
Identify, register, and follow up any safety concerns within the cell.
Train members to follow JES and understand audit processes.
Understand and follow company rules and processes, including internal escalation procedures.
Support documentation on the cell at predetermined frequencies, including scrap, PAB boards, quality performance, etc., as per GA SP requirements.
Responsible for first off's at the start of the shift and monitoring Quality closely throughout the team with a 'don't pass forward' approach.
Follow escalation procedures, including Stop, Call, Wait.
Daily machine checks and basic process management.
Maintain a clean and safe workplace according to 5S protocols and defined states.
Standard work audits and training fully compliant.
Continuous Improvement: Encourage a solution-based approach identifying problems as opportunities to improve.
Role model company values by leading by example, treating all members fairly and with respect.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must:

Hold a Level 3 NVQ qualification.
Have previous experience working in a busy production environment and carrying out general production duties.
Previous line leader experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive sector.
Have good competence with Microsoft Office.
SAP software experience, or similar software experience considered beneficial.
