Teaching Faculty - Operation Theatre Technologist
BIAHS is inviting applications for the post of Faculty – Department of Operation Theatre Technology from qualified and enthusiastic professionals with relevant clinical or academic experience in the field of Operation Theatre Technology.

Prior Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in OT practice or instruction, with a sound understanding of:
Human Anatomy Physiology
Surgical Instruments Procedures
Operation Theatre Protocols and Ethics
Sterilization and Disinfection Techniques
Biomedical Waste Management
Anaesthesia Techniques and Equipment
Pre- and Post-operative Patient Care
Infection Control Emergency Protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct theory and practical classes training students on core subjects of the OT Technology curriculum.
Assist in designing and updating course content to reflect industry standards.
Supervise students during practical training and hospital-based clinical postings.
Prepare SMART class materials, including PPTs, digital notes, and educational video links.
Conduct and evaluate internal assessments of students and maintain student academic log books.
Participate in institutional workshops, health camps other administrative requirements as expected from a faculty of a department.
Contribute to occasional departmental projects and promotional initiatives (eg. YouTube video lectures), for social media outreach branding purposes.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with hospital environments and surgical procedures
Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Strong personality with excellent communication skills, mentorship, and classroom management abilities.
Interest in digital teaching methods and simulation-based learning or real life case-study discussion based teaching methodology.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time: Monday to Saturday | 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Part Time: 2-5 days as per discussion | 11.00AM– 5:30 PM
