Prior experience in teaching special students. Ability to communicate appropriately with students. Experience in integration of technology in study. Ability to plan, implement and evaluate curriculum. Teaching special students in American Sign Language. Prepare lessons that reflect adaptation for students. Creating a positive, safe supportive environment. Causing interest in students for learning. Providing various learning approaches.
