Taxi Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to navigate through various routes while ensuring a pleasant experience for all riders.

Responsibilities

Safely transport passengers to their desired locations in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, conducting regular inspections and basic maintenance as needed.
Manage cash handling for fares, providing accurate change and receipts when necessary.
Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or personal items.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of passengers and other road users.
Provide exceptional customer service by being courteous, friendly, and accommodating to passenger needs.
Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
Stay informed about local traffic patterns, road conditions, and any detours or construction that may affect routes.
Skills

Strong time management skills to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
Experience in commercial driving is preferred, with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type.
Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for fare calculations.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse passengers.
Familiarity with navigation systems or map reading to efficiently plan routes.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.
