The branch focuses on three key areas: Talent Management, Talent Attraction and Talent Development.
The Opportunity
The Talent branch has an opportunity for one permanent and one one-year term Talent Development Consultant. We are seeking a highly capable, results-oriented, team player who is passionate about learning and development. The Talent Development team works collaboratively to design, develop, and deliver learning solutions that enable the Government of Saskatchewan to meet its goals and respond to emerging needs. The positions will be based in Regina.
The job will focus on:
Analyzing, designing and delivering learning solutions to support the development needs of the Government of Saskatchewan;
Consulting and delivering excellent client service to utilize our Learning Management System;
Consulting with clients on current and future development learning needs;
Develop and build relationships with service providers to deliver training results;
Working collaboratively with team members to accomplish goals;
Contribute to initiatives being driven by the Talent Development team, the Talent branch, the Public Service Commission, and the Government of Saskatchewan;
Identify and develop improvements and efficiencies for learning and development programs; and
Facilitating and delivering learning content for varying sized audiences.
Who are you:
Have familiarity with e-learning authoring tools, learning management systems, instructional design and adult learning methodologies to build and deliver corporate learning;
Communicate clearly and effectively when facilitating, consulting on learning needs, and creating program materials;
Thrive in planning and accomplishing results in fast-paced, changing environment;
Proactive and listens attentively to understand, assess, and solve recruitment and staffing needs and/or challenges; and
A strategic relationship builder who can strengthen and deepen ties internally with colleagues and clients, and externally with institutions and organizations.
Typically, the knowledge and experience required is obtained through formal education in Human Resources and experience in adult education, but relevant combinations will also be considered. This competition may be used for future permanent and non-permanent vacancies.
