SW Developer, Industrial Applications
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for integrating 3rd party software into our edge computing platform, designing integration strategies with external companies, and automating the integration processes. You will contribute to the overall vision of the product by optimizing code, implementing new features, and improving test processes. As part of a global software development team, you will plan, organize, and ensure smooth execution of tasks, while supporting fault resolution and ensuring a comprehensive end-to-end solution.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
As a SW Developer in our team, your role would include:
• Integrating 3rd party SW:s into our edge platform
• Designing the integration together with the external companies
• Automating integration processes
• Planning and organizing the work as part of global SW development teams
• Ensure E2E solution mindset
• Support fault resolutions
• Code optimization
• Test optimization
• Feature implementation
Key Skills And Experience
• Experience in SW development
• Experience at least in one of the following programming languages Golang, Python, Java
• Some experience with LINUX
• Experience in scripting/coding with one or more languages
• Ability to adapt to new SW technologies
• Understand the significance of good SW practices for high-quality SW
• Knowledge of the benefits of agile SW development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices
• Experience of open-source software
• Basic understanding of IP-networks
