Pembury Partners is assisting a new client with the search for an experienced sustainable chef working towards zero carbon Michelin-star-trained Private Chef in Exeter. The role will comprise working for the Principals in their residence 3 days a week and 2 days working as part of a Culinary team of 5 Chefs in their company, developing menus and catering for their 200 staff. When working in the Estate, the Chef will be in charge of preparing all produce and ingredients such as stocks, marinades, smoking meats, tofu, and fish, and all vegetables sourced directly from the potager and the family-owned estate. Everything is made from scratch and sustainable: the Chef will leave the mise en place for the Principal to take over and complete the meals once home. Needless to say, the principal is passionate about cooking. The Principal strongly prefers plant-based foods and promotes sustainable zero-carbon living, an ethos that also spreads across the company, and the chef must have a passion and track record for this. When working at the Company, the Chef will produce and execute menus utilizing all sustainable ingredients from the Estate. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about their culinary craft and embraces the same values and lifestyle shared by the Principals. The role is Monday to Friday, approx. 8 am to 5 pm. The Chef will live nearby and be a driver: the company is located in central Exeter while the Estate is a 20 minutes’ drive away. Relocation costs will be covered. The role starts asap, interviews taking place now. Applications: OPEN. Amongst the duties:

• Food prep from scratch, using all sustainable produce
