Stenographer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient English Stenographer. The ideal candidate will have excellent shorthand skills, typing speed, and the ability to transcribe spoken words into written format with accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Take accurate dictation using shorthand or stenographic techniques during meetings, hearings, and other spoken interactions.

Edit and proofread transcriptions for accuracy and clarity.

Maintain organized records and ensure secure storage of all transcripts and sensitive information.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in English shorthand (minimum 70-100 wpm preferred).

Typing speed of at least 40-50 wpm with high accuracy.

Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.

Time management and organizational skills.

High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Minimum educational qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
