Looking for a team player to join our clinic on a full-time basis to cover for a maternity leave. This is a back-of-clinic/nursing role to help put patients in rooms (checking of vital signs, blood pressures, etc) and giving injections/vaccinations. The appropriate candidate could be a medical office assistant with experience giving injections, or an RPN with experience in a primary care office setting.
We are a modern, established family medicine clinic housed in a fully renovated century-home in Central London. We currently have 5 physicians with 4 other support staff making up our team currently. We are looking for a friendly, efficient primary care support person to cover for one of our team members who is going off on a maternity leave. The main role is to to help support our doctors in providing excellent care. Duties include:
Greeting patients and welcoming them to exam rooms
Preparing patients by taking vital signs (BP, height, weight)
Performing vaccinations and injections as required
Supporting physicians with patient care by: assisting with medical procedures/exams as required; ensuring appropriate supplies are present
Calling patients in regards to follow-ups and upcoming appointments
Other clinic duties as required depending on needs of the day
This position is full-time weekdays, with no weekends. Position is full-time temporary with ability to start immediately and work with us until July 2026. Comfort with children and experience giving childhood vaccinations is required.
