Staff Nurse for Girls Convent School
*Key Responsibilities**:
- **Healthcare Management**:
- Provide basic medical care, first aid, and emergency treatment to students and staff.
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medical records for all students.
- Conduct regular health check-ups and monitor the well-being of students.
- **Health Education**:
- Educate students about hygiene, health practices, and preventive care.
- Promote awareness of healthy lifestyles and provide guidance on nutrition, exercise, and mental health.
- **Record Keeping Reporting**:
- Maintain detailed and confidential medical records for each student, including vaccination records.
- Prepare health reports and communicate with parents/guardians regarding any health issues or concerns.
- **Emergency Response**:
- Act quickly in medical emergencies, providing immediate care and coordinating with local healthcare facilities as needed.
- Stay updated with first aid practices and emergency procedures, ensuring the school's readiness for any health-related incidents.
- **Collaboration with Staff**:
- Work closely with the school's administration and teaching staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Participate in health-related school activities, such as medical camps, vaccination drives, and wellness programs.
• *Qualifications**:
- **Educational Requirements**:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing license/registration with the State Nursing Council.
- **Experience**:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a school, clinic, or pediatric setting.
- Experience in handling emergencies and knowledge of adolescent health issues is an advantage.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent clinical and first aid skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- **Other Requirements**:
- Willingness to reside within the school premises or nearby accommodation as required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
