About the role
CONTEXT OF THE SERVICE / PROJECT :
In the OBS group, Engineering provides expertise and support for the hosting platforms to external internal business customers.
OBJECT OF THE SERVICE :
The mission’s object consists in having the whole Database System (NoSQL / Oracle) architecture defined with all other constraints and to define High Availability and Disaster Recovery plans.
It requires communication with all streams.
SERVICE DESCRIPTION :
1. L3 support: level 3 (incident problem management) support on critical database platforms to Level-2 teams and Orange External / Internal customers
2. PreSales support: provide support to the Pre-Sales teams for validating the build process
3. release management
technology watch (study, documentation)
vendor technical relations
product release management (industrialization, validation, documentation)
training of Cluster technologies to Implementation operations teams
4. Proof Of Concept: validate new Products and Major Releases related to database technologies with subsequent documentations
5. Implementation: perform initial Deployment and Validation of databases
6. Catalog owner: development and maintenance of Service and Product catalog

About you
Technical Skills (PRIMARY):
L3 level knowledge in SQL Server Database administration version 2012\14\16\1+
Good working knowledge on Azure SQL DB.
Working knowledge on Azure cloud platform.
Excellent Knowledge and experience in SQL Server instance installation, configuration, Performance Tuning, DB upgrade, migration, DB cloning.
Excellent experience in SQl Server Clustering (Design, Installation, Configuration, Administration)
Good Knowledge and experience in Backup and Recovery including native and other tools.
Excellent knowledge and hands on experience of database HA\DR.
Excellent knowledge on SQL Server Always ON, Mirroring, Replication and Logshipping.
Knowledge on On-Prem to Cloud migration
Basic knowledge on SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and SQL Auditing.
Good understanding of Windows (powershell Scripting preferred) and virtualization.
Good understand in administration of Open source DBs(PostgreSQL, MySql etc) or NoSQL DBs (MongoDB/Couchbase/Cassandra/Neo4j/ElasticSearch etc.)
Good experience in handling Mission critical DB environments and designing DB specific solutions.
Willingness to provide database support on rotational basis, 24 X 7, when needed.
Strong communication skills and Good interpersonal skills and has good client handling experience.
Should be a team player and mentor the team when needed.
Ability to quickly take ownership of new technologies in his\her technical domain.
