Qualifications Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.

Responsibilities
• Develop database design architectures that incorporate new features of SQL Server 2017/2024 and Operating System Software.
• Assist project teams with technical issues in all phase of a project’s life cycle, including definition of hardware as well as infrastructure needs, research and development within the project life cycle, technical analysis and design.
• Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Designs, installs and performs ongoing maintenance and creates complete documentation for all activities.
• Assist application development teams in working with databases, planning and implementing production changes and assisting with query optimization.
• Implements and performs capacity planning, performance monitoring and reporting processes.
• Implements and performs proactive systems monitoring to ensure high- availability and performance.
• Performs server migration and server refresh activities, create scripts for post build configuration, performs capacity analysis, monitors and controls usage of disk space as well as develops procedures for server builds and post build configuration.
• Analyze troubleshoot and remediate data integrity issues, perform and maintain database and related asset backups and recovery, secure DB backup with encryption, SQL query optimization, index management and optimization tuning.
• Automate software builds, configuration and deployments to testing and production environments. Develop monitoring, alerting strategies for data systems. Ensure that organizational data are safe and secure from outside threat, evaluate security privilege and remove unnecessary access.
• Continually investigate methods and plans to improve system reliability and performance, provide input on capacity planning and high availability, zero downtime maintenance and upgrade path.
• Have the ability to escalate and communicate system outage to the appropriate levels of management, send a daily report email with all addressed Prod and Non-Prod issues which occurred during that time frame for visibility.
