Job Summary:
• *Responsibilities**:
Operate and maintain the spray paint line, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of equipment such as spray guns, nozzles, hot air ovens, and UV lamps.
Prepare surfaces and products for painting, ensuring they are clean, smooth, and free from imperfections.
Mix and prepare paint formulations according to specifications, taking into account factors such as color, consistency, and drying time.
Utilize hot air ovens and UV lamps to facilitate drying and curing processes, ensuring proper finish quality.
Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of spray guns, booths, filters, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
Inspect painted products for quality and make necessary touch-ups or adjustments to achieve the desired finish.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of painted products, meeting production targets and deadlines.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions in the paint line or robot systems, coordinating with maintenance or engineering personnel as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of paint usage, production logs, and any other relevant documentation.
• *Requirements**:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven work experience as a Spray Paint Line Operator in the wood industry.
Strong knowledge and experience in using various types of paint, including polyurethane, water-based, solvent-based, and UV-based paints.
Familiarity with different spray painting techniques, equipment, and materials.
Experience in managing equipment such as hot air ovens, UV lamps, spray guns, and nozzles.
Proficiency in CAD-CAM oriented programming for robot systems, including 6-axis robots and two oscillating arms with guns.
Ability to interpret and follow technical specifications, drawings, and instructions.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to achieve precise and consistent paint finishes.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address equipment issues or paint defects.
