What will your typical day look like?

As specialist, Firm Communications, you will work closely with team senior managers to develop effective communications that are aligned with our strategic priorities and share need-to-know information with employees at all levels. You will help take communications from concept to reality, assisting in the planning process and then playing a critical role in execution.


This includes:


Developing and editing impactful content to drive meaningful engagement with internal audiences
Project management: steering individual communications through the full cycle of research, writing, editing, approvals, translation, distribution, and analyzing key metrics to inform future campaigns
Using our firm-wide editorial calendar to plan and disseminate approved content into appropriate channels while ensuring alignment with Deloitte Global style guide, Deloitte Voice, and communications protocols
Supporting the delivery of key internal events that are virtual, hybrid, or in-person
Using firm-approved generative AI tools to generate ideas and create content

We want to work with enthusiastic, creative, and committed individuals who are passionate about internal storytelling and confident working in an agile, fast-paced environment. Core competencies and attributes to be successful in this role include:


A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or similar field and previous internal communications experience (work in a large corporate setting or professional services organization is an asset)
Exceptional storytelling and editing skills in English and French—knowledge of Spanish is also an asset
A meticulous eye for detail, excellent time management and organizational skills, and strong judgment
Ability to create communications on a wide range of subject matter and across different formats (e.g. email, internal social media platforms, speeches)
Strong experience in partnering with generative AI tools to enhance productivity and creativity in developing clear, concise, and engaging content
Experience in basic video editing to deliver content in a variety of formats
Experience in managing metrics: analyzing campaign performance and making a data-driven recommendation on next steps

Due to the nature of the role having interactions with national and global clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $+6,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. Deloitte is fair and competitive when it comes to the salaries of our people. We regularly benchmark across a variety of positions, industries, sectors, targets, and levels. Our Total Rewards Package extends well beyond traditional compensation and benefit programs and is designed to recognize employee contributions, encourage personal wellness, and support firm growth. On top of our regular paid vacation days, some examples include: $4,000 per year for mental health support benefits, a $1,300 flexible benefit spending account, firm-wide closures known as "Deloitte Days", dedicated days of for learning (known as Development and Innovation Days), flexible work arrangements and a hybrid work structure.
