Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a South Indian Head Chef. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. They will ensure the highest quality of food and service, maintain food safety standards, and collaborate with the management team to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes.
Qualifications
• Extensive knowledge and experience in South Indian cuisine
• Strong culinary skills and ability to create innovative and authentic dishes
• Experience in menu planning, recipe development, and food cost management
• Leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
• Food safety and sanitation certification
• Experience in managing inventory and controlling food costs
• Culinary degree or certification is a plus
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
