Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive Social Studies lessons aligned with the curriculum for Grades 2 to 8.
• Design engaging activities to promote critical thinking, historical inquiry, and cultural awareness.
• Incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including project-based learning, discussions, and technology.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
• Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and respects diverse perspectives.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about students' progress and development.
• Stay updated on educational trends and integrate best practices into teaching.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching Social Studies at the primary and middle school levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners.
• Passionate about education and fostering a love for Social Studies.
