Role overview:
We’re hiring a Social Media Video Editor to create fast-paced, engaging, and platform-optimized video content for campaigns across Meta (Facebook Instagram), YouTube Shorts, and Google Ads.
Eligibility:
Minimum 3 months of experience in editing social media videos (freelance, internship, or in-house)
Completion of a course in video editing, multimedia design, or social media content production
Proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar tools
Strong understanding of aspect ratios, pacing, and visual hooks for reels/shorts
Bonus: Familiarity with ad-style storytelling and CTA placement
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and deliver short-form videos (15s to +0s) for Instagram Reels, Facebook Ads, YouTube Shorts, etc.
Add transitions, captions, effects, sound design, and text animations
Adapt videos for different dimensions (1:1, +:16, 16:+) as per platform
Work with content and ad teams to align edits with campaign objectives
Stay updated with trending formats, audio tracks, and viral visual styles
