The Site Services and Administration Officer is a customer-facing receptionist role, required to work onsite from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday. Located at the Altona North Logistics Unit, this is a dynamic role and first point of contact for all visitors to the site, playing a critical role in presenting a professional and welcoming environment.

Utilising your strong organisational skills, communication skills and attention to detail, you'll be handling a variety of tasks, from reception duties to financial and administrative services.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the day-to-day visitors and contractors on site
Handling financial transactions, records and reporting related to the site and supporting the warehouse
Helping to keep track of stock and supplies
Contributing to a supportive team culture and continuing an excellent customer experience.
You will have the opportunity to participate in Emergency Management support activities through being a member of rosters supporting Duty Officers and the dispatch of fire equipment and supplies.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

Strong digital literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word) and internal record management systems
Experience in maintaining accurate records and data entry, particularly in inventory, procurement, or finance systems
Desirable:

Relevant tertiary qualifications
Experience using inventory and finance management systems (e.g. TechOne, Oracle, or similar platforms)
Familiarity with government procurement or finance policies
Experience supporting emergency management operations
This is an ongoing postion. The work location for this position is on site at Altona North, 5 days per week from 8am – 4pm.
