Singing Teacher
About the Role:
You’ll be working with our young performers, helping to develop their vocal technique and performance skills in a fun, engaging, and fast paced environment. You’ll play a key role in selecting and arranging repertoire suitable for performance and competition, with a strong emphasis on musical theatre.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality singing lessons focused on technique, vocal health, and performance.
Select and/or arrange age-appropriate songs for solo and group work.
Prepare students for performances, showcases, and competitions.
Inspire and engage young performers with your energy and enthusiasm.
Maintain excellent time-keeping and class management skills.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong knowledge and passion for musical theatre.
Proficient piano player (essential for accompaniment and teaching).
Excellent understanding of vocal technique and safe singing practices.
Degree or higher-level qualification in music, musical theatre, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 2 year’s teaching experience with children or young people.
Industry experience or knowledge is a plus.
Reliable, organised, enthusiastic, and able to command and motivate a class.
Hours Pay:
2–5 hours per week, days to be confirmed.
Pay negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications.
