Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Address customers' complaints or concerns. Professionalism in customer service. Load and unload goods. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Keep a record of items received and delivered. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Prepare, package and restock goods. Provide customer service. Sort packages for delivery. Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
