Job description
• Server Monitoring daily and weekly reports of all servers.
• Manage Network (including backup, security management, user account management, email systems including an outlook Exchange email server, Internet access, office systems, and application support).
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, file servers, Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems; adds or upgrade and configure modems, disk drives, data acquisition boards, CPU units, printers, and related equipment.
• Perform software and application development, installation, and updating security updates and patches.
• Plan and implement network security, including building Firewalls, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery procedures, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users.
• Maintain hardware/software inventory. Evaluate and recommend purchases of computers, network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software.
• Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties
• Supports server, network, and desktop hardware, software, and applications.
• Plans, implements, and supports the network and computing infrastructure plan.
• Good understanding of AWS environment.
• Network Infrastructure design and troubleshooting; WAN and TCP/ IP administration; Software/ Hardware, testing, maintenance, support, and advanced end-user support.
• Ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operational problems.
• Ability to provide technical training to end-users and learn and support new systems and applications.
• Provide client support and technical issue resolution via email, phone, and other electronic mediums.
• We have Windows Server 2012, 201+, Outlook Exchange Server, Office 365, and Citrix Server environments, Fortinet firewall protection, and other business applications.
• Ability to work well with a team, constantly changing environment, and follow instructions from supervisors and senior colleagues.
Required Candidate profile
• Hands-on experience with CaseWare, Outlook 365, Outlook Exchange, MS Office, Windows 10, 8, and 7 environments.
• Windows Certified Engineer Preferred
• Basic installation, server security, server monitoring
• Excellent understanding of SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, POP, Exim
• Good Knowledge of building and modifying DNS, PHP, MySQL, etc.
• Confident and passionate
• Organizational skills with the ability to multitask by talking, using technology, and listening.
• Dependable to be at work during assigned shifts and to complete work as expected.
