Role Summary: Ensures that facilities, layout, and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, and managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment (including software programming). This may include training and assessing other technicians and Apprentices.
Key Deliverables :
• Conduct installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems in mechanical, electrical, and automation fields.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure reliability and optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems using various tools and techniques.
• Provide technical leadership to the team, including mentoring and coaching less experienced technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on equipment and systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment and system performance and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that equipment and systems are maintained and operated safely and effectively.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations while performing duties.

• Work independently and is reviewed infrequently with minimal supervision
• Self-supervising within the guidance and expectations of divisional
