We seek an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, possessing at least 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering. Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements for new features and enhancements
• Develop high-quality test plans, test cases
• Execute test cases, develop traceability matrices (RTM)
• Document and track test cases
• Test plan and its components, test strategy document components
• Web testing and database testing
• Design, write, execute, and maintain product test cases for multiple products
• Conduct system, integration, and regression testing
• Identify, document, and report defects with severity/priority
• Mentor and train new hires
• Conduct product functionality walkthroughs for stakeholders
• Prepare training manuals/user guides
Requirements:
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, STLC, SDLC, and bug life cycle
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor, providing regular status updates to stakeholders
• At least 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on loan origination systems (LOS) or loan management systems
• Proven understanding of end-to-end loan lifecycle processes – including origination, credit checks, approvals, disbursement, collections, and closure
• Experience testing core banking systems, loan origination systems (LOS), or loan servicing platforms
• Validate complex business rules and calculations (e.g., DTI, LTV, cash-to-close, fee tolerances)
• Experience using Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps Build is preferable
• Strong skills in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management
• Working knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) and ability to validate loan workflows across integrated systems
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks is a strong plus
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in consumer or commercial lending (e.g., KYC, AML, credit scoring)
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts, business stakeholders
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment, including active participation in sprint planning and retrospectives
• Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to identifying risks and ensuring product quality
• Microsoft Dynamics CRM applications testing is preferable
• Position may require project travel to onsite client locations
