Job Description:

As a Sr. QA Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to understand the product requirements, designs and provide your feedback to the development team. It is a manual plus automation job role where you will be designing the comprehensive test cases and also automating those in latest automation tools like Playwright using JS. You will be responsible for debugging the test failures and to maintain the automation CI/CD pipelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Understand the product core functionalities
• Review new requirements and propose improvements and enhancements
• Collaborating with multiple teams and various stakeholders(developers, product managers, support engineers and customers).
• Responsible for developing well-designed, comprehensive end to end test scenarios and test cases and executing those in the regression cycles.
• Mentor juniors and resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
• Maintain high standards of quality for automation code, documentation, and other deliverables.
• Adhere to industry best practices and contribute to the testing process.

Required Experience/Skills
• 5-8 years of experience in the software testing field.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile principles.
• Good understanding of web service technologies such as REST,SOAP, JSON, HTTP, SSL/TLS,OAuth2, Swagger etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, Java.
• Experience with various testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, unittest frameworks).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration tools such Jenkins or Teamcity
• Exposure to cloud computing services like AWS, Azure, GCP will be a plus.
• Understanding of Linux based systems, Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and version control tools.
