Senior Practice Accountant

Trinity Co are a rapidly growing firm of accountants with an established portfolio of clients from various industries providing compliance, tax, audit and advisory services.
We are looking to evolve the dynamics of the office by introducing an additional Senior Accountant. The role will suite a highly motivated individual who is eager to explore new ideas and concepts to bring into the office as way of increasing efficiency and the overall client experience. Job Responsibilities:
Client Accounting: Manage a portfolio of clients, providing a full range of accounting services, including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and tax compliance.
Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
Tax Planning: Assist clients in minimizing tax liabilities through effective tax planning and compliance with current tax regulations.
Audit Support: Collaborate with audit teams and prepare audit schedules, ensuring accurate and timely completion of audits.
Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance and fostering their professional development.
Client Communication: Maintain strong client relationships, addressing inquiries and providing proactive financial advice.
On-Site Client Work: Visit and work from client premises on occasion to better understand their operations and facilitate effective financial management.
Qualifications:
ACA/ACCA qualified or working towards / qualified by experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting practice.
Proficiency in accounting software; Sage, QuickBooks, Xero and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
