Senior Legal Counsel - Regulatory Law
Based at our Chifley Square Head Office and reporting into the General Counsel and Company Secretary, this role is a senior management position within the Group.
Main Responsibilities:
Advise business units and the executive leadership team on regulatory compliance matters with a focus on NDIS, aged care, and health care regulation.
Lead and manage the design and implementation of risk management and compliance frameworks, policies, processes, and associated legal training.
Draft reports for the Executive Leadership Team, Board, and relevant Board committees as required.
Assist with mandatory notification to regulators and support business units in connection with regulator enquiries or investigations.
About You:
You will have substantial experience working at a senior level in-house (at least 10+ years PQE) and expertise in providing regulatory advice, dealing with healthcare regulators, and developing compliance frameworks.
You will be able to lead and influence a large stakeholder group in a high-pressure environment.
You enjoy working in environments with multiple streams of work and can manage competing deadlines.
