Senior Fashion Designer
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Designer at Mahalaxmi Textiles Traders. As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing new clothing lines, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and collaborating with the production team to bring designs to life.
Key Responsibilities
Trend Analysis: Research upcoming trends, consumer preferences, and market demands.
Conceptualization: Create initial sketches and ideas, often using software like Adobe Illustrator or CAD tools.
Material Selection: Choose fabrics, colors, and textures based on design vision and production feasibility.
Prototype Development: Work with pattern makers and tailors to create samples and prototypes for fitting and testing.
Collaboration: Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and marketing teams to ensure designs align with brand identity and production capabilities.
Collection Development: Create cohesive seasonal collections that reflect the brand's vision and cater to target markets.
Quality Control: Ensure final products meet design standards, are well-constructed, and aesthetically appealing.
Sustainability Focus (Optional): Embrace sustainable practices by choosing eco-friendly materials or focusing on ethical production processes.
