Job Description:

Ø Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure

Ø Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers

Ø Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes

Ø Testing and examining code written by others and analysing results

Ø Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

Ø Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’

Ø Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

Ø Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.

Technical Skills:

Ø Linux fundamentals, Scripting skills

Ø Source code Management

Ø Configuration and version management

Ø Experience with testing tools like selenium and deployment tools like Jenkin
