Job description
A well-established Canadian company with deep roots in the community and a commitment to operational excellence is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its growing finance function based in Brampton.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and analyze financial results, highlighting key insights and variances
• Ensure accurate reporting in line with IFRS and internal controls
• Collaborate with internal departments and liaise with auditors as needed
• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc reporting across the business
Your Profile:
• CPA designation with 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Solid background in public accounting and/or industry (multi-entity environment ideal)
• Proficient in IFRS reporting standards
• Strong analytical mindset and advanced Excel capabilities (macros, Power Query an asset)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving business environment
