Location: Brentwood

Salary Range: £84-£100

Start: ASAP

GSL Education a leading well-known educational institution are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant - SEN to join our welcoming co-educational school in Brentwood by ASAP.

Job Summary Of Teaching Assistant (TA)

As SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be essential in helping students with different learning needs. Your role involves supporting their academic and personal growth. You’ll work closely with teachers, Special Education Coordinators, and other professionals to follow individual education plans and ensure a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Job Responsibilities For a Teaching Assistant
• Support children with special educational needs in their learning and development.
• As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to support students with diverse learning needs
• Help create a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Work with parents and carers to ensure consistent support for students.

Qualifications As a Teaching Assistant (TA)
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of special educational needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
• Must have DBS (updated service) to safeguard the learners issues.
• Experienced candidates in the relevant field will be preferred.
