SEN Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our SEN educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the diverse needs of students. This role involves engaging with children in various subjects, including Physical Education, Maths, and Special Education, while also providing mentorship and guidance. The Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of students and promoting their overall development.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual learning needs of students.
Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and fosters a love for learning.
Utilise effective teaching strategies to engage students in subjects such as Maths, Physical Education, and Special Education.
Provide mentorship and support to students in their academic and personal growth.
Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support student development effectively.
Implement applied behaviour analysis techniques as needed to support students with special educational needs.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and behaviour while ensuring confidentiality.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
