Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As a Class Teacher in our Autism Centre at Westover Green Community School Autism Centre, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.

Purpose of the role of a Class Teacher (see the JD/PS for accountabilities):
To carry out the professional duties of a teacher, in accordance with any directions reasonably given by the Headteacher.
What You’ll Bring to Futura:
We are looking for a motivated and inspirational Class Teacher in our Autism Centre who will:
Have qualified teacher status and successful completion of induction year.
Have an excellent knowledge of autism and a deep understanding of statutory SEND paperwork.
Be a positive team member who can collaborate with support staff in the Autism Centre and liaise effectively with mainstream colleagues.
Maintain effective communication between school and families.
Be inspirational, dedicated and committed to creating a stimulating, nurturing learning environment.
Be an effective classroom teacher with a clear understanding of the Early Years Framework.
Have a sound understanding of how to support and nurture children with communication and interaction, sensory and emotional regulation needs.
Demonstrate a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.
Align with our trust-wide values by bringing a positive, collaborative approach to their work and a willingness to continuously develop professionally.
