Mō te Tūranga | About the role:

Working as a key leader within our Security team, the Security Shift Manager is a hands-on role, working with and supporting the Security team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and a culture of care, while ensuring a safe, secure, and compliant environment for both employees and customers.

This role will require you to think on your feet and use your problem-solving skills to deal with issues that arise while on shift, as well as effectively communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders across the site to ensure a smooth operation. Proven leadership skills, reliability, and flexibility, as well as a positive can-do attitude will be essential to be considered for this role. Having previous experience working within a regulated environment would be advantageous.

This is a full-time opportunity, working 10 hour shifts on a 4 on 3 off roster that will include nights and weekends.

To be successful in this role, you will also:

Be able to manage a team, delegate tasks effectively and maintain oversight
Be a great problem solver who is able to take initiative and think on your feet
Be an effective, confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
Be physically able to undertake the requirements of the position
Be aged 20 years or above with a clear criminal history due to licencing requirements
