Job Description
As a School Psychologist, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to build the capabilities of schools to support children and young people to engage in their education. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive services to schools and school-aged students to enhance developmental and learning outcomes and support student health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert advice to school leadership teams on the development of teaching and learning strategies and student wellbeing programs.
Work collaboratively with other professionals on complex cases, including supporting teachers in the development of educational programs to improve student learning, particularly for students with additional needs.
Undertake advanced interventions that support students and schools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A graduate or post-graduate qualification in psychology or equivalent.
Full Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA). Provisional Psychologists may apply for this position and if successful will be appointed at the Allied Health (AH) 2 salary range.
