SUMMARY
SAP.iO Foundries is SAP’s global network of equity-free startup accelerators that are the fastest way for founders to launch a relationship with SAP. SAP.iO Foundries provides technical and go-to-market support to help startups integrate with SAP and accelerate their entry into a curated inclusive ecosystem whose offerings can be easily accessed and deployed by SAP customers. SAP.iO Foundries were formally launched in 2017 and have helped accelerate more than 300 startups across all lines of business and industries. SAP.iO currently has + Foundries located in San Francisco, New York, Berlin, Munich, Paris, Tel Aviv, Singapore, Tokyo, and Bangalore.
THE ROLE
As an SAP.iO Program Manager, you are in charge of operation activities for the Foundry Bangalore startup program. You will be the face to the startup and will work closely with both internal and external resources to help execute on deliverables that ensure the success of the program. You will work alongside the SAP.iO Foundry Director to select startups for programs, source mentors, coordinate business unit and customer visits, organize events, and work with PR and marketing teams (SAP and external) to promote the program.
• Evangelize and represent SAP.iO Foundry Bangalore (along with the Director) within the local startup and investor ecosystem as appropriate.
• Assist in the design and project management of the SAP.iO Foundry programs by setting up workshops, coordinating mentor groups, and scheduling and managing events.
• Communicate with current, graduate and future startups participating in the program, and internal and external business partners and affiliates.
• Support startups with their participation in the program: onboarding, scheduling and offboarding.
• Collaborate with other SAP.iO colleagues on activities and continuous (re-)design, improvement and implementation of new and existing processes while ensuring consistency with regulatory requirements and corporate guidelines.
• Maintain SAP.iO database/CRM.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• University degree or comparable education or job experience, MBA a plus
• Minimum 5+ years of professional work experience, including proven track record
• Strong interest in the discourse around technology, startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
• Ability to quickly build relationships and convey influence when needed at all levels, in order to resolve conflicts and maintain direction.
• Capable of multitasking and able to prioritize workflow and manage multiple projects with minimal to moderate direction.
• Prior startup, strategy consulting, finance, early-stage investing, or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated and proactive, detail-oriented, results driven.
• Ability to grow and excel in a complex environment, and focused on creating new efficient approaches
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent communications / presentation skills (oral, written) with ability to present at an executive level
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and team player, proactive networker.
