Required Skills/Experience Accountabilities

Degree or above in Business, or similar discipline.
Proven experience as a Sales Director or other relevant role (Country Manager).
A track record in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key clients within FMCG.
Set and achieve the sales, financial planning and customer contribution target for the market’s entire product portfolio in all distribution channels.
Lead in commercial strategy and preparation of pricing strategy, discounts and other trade terms for the market in line with Global guidance.
Develop and implement account channel strategies that will lead to transformational growth in priority customer accounts whilst maintaining the base business. Use market analysis to support decision making.
Manager and deliver major customer tender negotiations.
Oversee negotiations with customers on promotion planning and execution in store to support the overall performance of the market.
Responsibility for driving agreed sales and operating planning targets through accurate sales forecast. Submit projected profit and loss for annual business planning.
Management of the New Zealand Commercial team.
Create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across the New Zealand business.

Strong People management skills
Key NZ retailer knowledge
In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
Sound knowledge of Business Data Analytics software
Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
