Job description
• Assist more experienced roofers and crew leaders with physically demanding duties related to new and re-roofing projects.
• Use, supply or hold materials or tools.
• Clean work area and equipment.
• Ensure that completed roofs are watertight.
• Sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for the application of new roofing materials.
• Locate worn or torn areas in roofs.
• Clean work areas and equipment.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Shovel rock, apply glue with a roller, work from hands knees.
• Remove old roofing materials.
• Set up safety equipment
