About us
We are seeking 3x skilled and reliable Roof Tiler to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems, including shingles, metal, tile, and flat roofs. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely at heights
Job Description
This role will include, but not limited to:
Measure roof areas and calculate the number of tiles and materials needed
Lay, cut, and shape roofing tiles to fit roof design
Install underlayment, battens, and waterproof membranes
Replace broken or missing tiles
Work with clay, slate, concrete, or stone tiles depending on the job
Ensure work is weatherproof, secure, and up to safety standards
Operate power tools, tile cutters, and other roofing equipment safely
Follow technical drawings and plans when needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work collaboratively with team members and other tradespeople

Number of positions for this job: 3
Pay rate: $23.50 per hour
Days required: 5-6 days/week
Hours per week: at least 30, maximum 55 hours/week
Work Environment:
Outdoor construction sites
High, sloped, or uneven surfaces
Exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions
Use of scaffolding, harnesses, and ladders required
The successful applicant must have the following:
A Level 4 relevant qualification AND at least five years’ relevant experience as a Roof Tiler or in a similar role
Comfortable working at heights and on sloped surfaces
Strong understanding of tiling materials and installation techniques
Physical strength and stamina to handle lifting and labor-intensive tasks
Good attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
