Position: Rock Mechanic Expert

The position requires a highly skilled rock mechanic expert to join our Geotechnical Heavy Civil Engineering department.

Responsibilities

Design and supervision of ground investigation programs
Rock mass classification
Rock joints survey/stereographic projection, and kinematic Analysis
Derivation of strength and deformation parameters of jointed rock
Rock slope Stability and rockfall evaluation
Design of rock bolts, anchors, shotcrete, wire-nets
Numerical modeling
Rock slope monitoring
Application of probability theory
Requirements

A degree in Geotechnical or Geological engineering (B.S or M.S.)
Approximately 10 to 18 years of relevant engineering experience
Strong technical background with a broad range of project experience
Preferred Qualifications

Engineer with academic specialization in Rock Mechanics
Work Environment

Both office and field tasks
International travel according to project requirements
